Abstract:
This research article explores the integration of remote sensing technologies in the monitoring and management of natural disasters. It provides a comprehensive review of current technologies, including satellites, drones, and ground-based sensors, and examines their applications across various disaster scenarios such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and wildfires. By analysing recent advancements and case studies, this paper highlights the role of remote sensing in enhancing disaster response, damage assessment, and recovery efforts. The findings emphasize the effectiveness of these technologies in providing timely and accurate data, and offer recommendations for future research and technological development.
